Getting into the swing of email marketing
Supa Golf is a new and fun version of pitch and putt which aims to appeal to a wider audience. Golf clubs are easier to use and the balls are easier to hit so the game is less frustrating and more enjoyable for adults and children alike.
Based in Blakemere, Cheshire, the company wants to make golf more fun for people who don’t want to learn the detailed techniques which accompany the traditional game. It also serves as a great introduction for younger players – balls are larger and brighter much easier to find.
Project Brief for Email Newsletter
Supa Golf wanted to create an email newsletter which would help to attract more bookings.
The company wanted to use the email newsletter to appeal to different customer groups – from companies looking for a fun team building activity to leisure users such as couples, groups of friends and families with young children.
People sign up to receive the newsletter through the website and are then kept up-to-date with monthly news and special offers. It serves to generate repeat business by keeping in contact with existing customers.
To generate a good open rate and to quickly get the message across, the email newsletter contains short articles interspersed with bright photography, so it’s easy to read. Comprehensive newsletter activity analytics are provided for each campaign so Supa Golf can track and manage the campaigns effectively.
Andrew Risk at Supa Golf comments:
“We want Supa Golf to be a fun venue that people return to time and again, and recommend to their friends and colleagues. The newsletter is an important part of our marketing campaign as it helps us remind people that we’re here.
“The email system is really easy to use, the design looks great and eye catching, so grabs people’s attention and it’s easy to read at-a-glance so communicates messages well. All in all the greensplash team were easy to work with and did a great job.”
