Fresh brand helps health and beauty business project the right image

The Challenge

Evergreen is a modern and stylish exercise and beauty venue located in beautiful converted barns in Knutsford, Cheshire. The company specialises in ladies-only power-assisted exercise and offers a wide range of beauty treatments to both ladies and gentlemen.

Central to Evergreen’s success is the welcoming atmosphere where clients can relax and enjoy being pampered in calming, luxurious surroundings.

Project brief for brand

Evergreen’s founder Jo Pawsey needed stylish flyers and price lists and so our starting point was to design an elegant and impactful logo.

We began by talking to Jo to get under the skin of her business idea – to understand what services she offered and what was different about her approach.

Rich purple and a natural, optimistic green were chosen as representative colours. We used an elegant, flowing font to create a symbol using the initial letters which sit beautifully next to the full company name. The name Evergreen was split so that it would be less elongated and therefore more versatile. Because the name is generic we advised on the use of an explanatory strap line ‘Exercise and Beauty’ to ensure the brand would be easily understood, especially while the business is being established.
