When Leeds-based builders merchants Milford approached greensplash to revamp their old and somewhat tired looking company website, their requirements were a little uncertain. greensplash (like all good website design companies should) worked closely with the client to uncover and understand their precise needs. This then meant that we could go on to deliver the complete package – taking the project from concept right through to completion.
Project brief for web design
Milford, commissioned greensplash to revamp their old company website to help them to attract new customers. As well as those in the trade, Milford wanted to target other types of customers who might never have considered visiting a builders merchant previously, such as DIYers, families and females.
With these target audiences in mind, the website design had to be appealing, fuss-free and easy-to-use. We’re pleased to say that the final website’s design has a look and feel that is fresh and approachable – reflecting the philosophy and approach of the team at Milford.
A solution built with Milford in mind
From the outset, the client wanted to be able to update the website themselves. For this reason, we developed Milford’s website on greensplash’s very own CMS product, RefresherCMS. This means that going forward, the client will easily be able to deploy news, details of new products and other updates on a regular basis.
The complete package of creativity
To complement the core web design and build services, greensplash also provided the client with copywriting and photography services too. The result is a web presence that is highly attractive to a new customer base and that reflects Milford’s successful business. Something their old website didn’t come close to achieving.
